Following its enormous success in Montreal and Dallas, The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier, from the Sidewalk to the Catwalk exhibition hits the American west coast at the deYoung museum in San Francisco. Living up to his extravagant reputation, Jean Paul Gaultier held not one but two launch parties!

Since Mylène Farmer closed the Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2011 catwalk show dressed in the famous black 'Libertine Swan' wedding dress before falling into Jean Paul Gaultier's arms, we haven't heard much from our two lovebirds. Six days only after taking us on a trip to the London docklands for his Menswear collection, Jean Paul Gaultier seems to have moved lock, stock and barrel over the Channel! The Paris Fashion Week started this week and yesterday, our favourite designer made a splash! He asked Mylène Farmer to be a model for one evening. "I asked my friend Mylène Farmer for her hand & we will celebrate our union tomorrow at the end of the Couture show… 325 rue Saint-Martin at 2:30PM", he stated on his Twitter page Tuesday. The singer wore a swan-like wedding dress, walking to the rhythm of her 1986 hit, "Libertine".

Nuvo, the Canadian quarterly magazine, celebrates the opening of the Montreal exhibition, From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, with an exceptional summer issue dedicated to Jean Paul Gaultier.

AmfAR, the charity founded by Elizabeth Taylor and dedicated to the fight against AIDS, launched a series of charity events called "Inspiration Galas", in celebration of masculine style. Jean Paul Gaultier, who attended the Parisian and New York events, received the "Inspiration Award" in 2010 from Kylie Minogue (total look by Gaultier) for his contribution to masculine fashion as well as for his commitment to the cause.
