Jean Paul Gaultier is the very first designer to be chosen as a member of the prestigious jury for the 65th Cannes Film Festival. It will take place from May 16th till May 26th 2012.
As a Cinema lover since he was a child, Jean Paul Gaultier’s passion for Fashion and Haute Couture was among others inspired by movies like Falbalas by Jacques Becker, which is one of the most striking. Since then, he managed to combine successfully profession and passion, particularly thanks to a good friend of him, Catherine Deneuve, and also designed costumes for several movies, such as he did for Pedro Almodovar in La Piel Que Habito.
Jean Paul Gaultier is now a full member of that famous World of Cinema and can definitely enjoy his second passion during these two weeks. We are eager to hear about his first feelings !
